Approach on runway 6 of the José Martí International Airport at Havana, Cuba. Landing gear of the Airbus A350 lowered.

José Martí International Airport was built in 1930 and known at the beginning as Rancho Boyeros Airport.

Since the Cuban Revolution two more passenger terminals were built for flights to friendly countries and in anticipation to an easing of the US embargo.

In 1997 a Concorde of Air France landed at the airport, the passengers and crew were greeted by Fidel Castro himself.
