The Village Named Keitum

Driving through the village of Keitum on the island of Sylt, a village known for its thatched houses which are typical for the island of Sylt in the North Sea next to the border of Germany and Denmark.

The village has a large number of traditional Uthland-Frisian houses.

They all have thatched roofs and many of them are over two hundred years old.

Keitum is located on the wadden sea side of the island. It stretches about three kilometres along the sea at what is called Grünes Kliff, the green cliff.
