The World Is Not Enough

The world is not enough. To know how the seasons of the earth will be in 200 million years time you have to know the position of the earth more precisely than the size of an atom, otherwise you will have an inaccuracy as big as the rotation of the earth around the sun.

Another example: Airliners have an INS, the Inertial Navigation System. That calculates the position of the airplane after every single movement. But if there is a small inaccuracy every time then it will display the position at a different point than where the plane really is.

That one factor was leading to a crash of a US Air Force plane near Dubrovnik in Croatia in the 1990s.

And finally: The reason why living beings age and die at the end is because the DNA is reproducing with small errors. These errors add up until there are too many.
