On 8 September 2023 an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.8 happened in Morocco with the epicentre being in the Marrakesh Safi region, 73.4 kilometres away from Marrakesh. We are reporting from Fes where the earthquake was present as well as it could be felt even as far as Portugal, Spain and Algeria, to give an insight to how the city in the north of Morocco and the whole country were affected
