The BRICS countries Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa decided during their summit in South Africa from 22 till 24 August 2023 to admit the countries Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to the community from 1 January 2024 onwards. Due to that admission it will be known as BRICS Plus.

23 countries had applied to join and another 16 were interested. Saudi Arabia postponed its membership. It is a community for creating a multipolar world order with equality and peace, and therefore ending American hegemony.

Since the beginning of the military operation as reaction on the civil war in Ukraine more and more countries in the world start to resist American hegemony and western exploitation because they noticed that it is possible.

On 26 July 2023 a coup d’état occurred in Niger when the military removed the western-controlled puppet government and took over power. We are at the beginning of a new era of a multipolar world that hopefully leads to equality and peace.
