The Jeddah Tower, previously known as Kingdom Tower, is a skyscraper currently under construction which will be tallest building in the world upon completion. It is planned to be the first one kilometre tall building. Construction started in 2013 but is on hold since 2018 so it is unknown when it will be completed. It has reached about one third of its planned height
