During qualifying on Saturday a major crash happened when the car of ABT Cupra flipped over several times. On Sunday both the semi final and final were won by Roberg X Racing who are leading the championship now in front of X44, JBXE of Jenson Button are on P6 and ABT Cupra on P7.

The focus of this X Prix was on desertification, the next one, called Ocean X Prix, will take place in Senegal and focus on ocean plastics. The St Helena will bring cars and equipment to the new location in May.

Extreme E is not only about car racing, it is about making people aware of environmental issues and taking steps towards sustainability, with electric cars, small local footsteps, plastic recycling, and a transport by a ship which operates with minimal emissions, as well as equality, with teams having one male and one female driver.

Most of the important issues on earth are highlighted by Extreme E which is more than a racing series.
