The funeral of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, had taken place today, he had passed away on 9 April 2021 aged 99.
It was designed by himself and it was a relatively small partially due to his wishes and partially due to coronavirus restrictions.
He was born as Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark and became a British citizen when marrying Princess Elizabeth of York in 1947 who became Queen of the United Kingdom and several commonwealth nations in 1952.
He had been married to Queen Elizabeth Il for 74 years.
He was known for his direct and witty remarks, he liked to say what he was thinking. R.I.P.
